# Chainlink extends tokenized stock pricing through weekends with Aave as launch partner

*Chainlink 24/7 provides a single price series for stocks and commodities when exchanges are closed by using perpetual futures quotes.*

Chainlink launched Chainlink 24/7, a service that extends prices for stocks, commodities and other traditional assets through weekends and market holidays, CoinDesk reported on October 29, 2026. Aave is the launch partner and is adopting the feeds for Horizon, its institutional lending platform, starting with tokenized versions of heavily traded US stocks.

When traditional markets are open, Chainlink 24/7 draws prices from regular and extended trading sessions. When they close, the service switches to a reference built from quotes on multiple perpetual futures venues, filtering stale inputs and limiting the pull of outlier prices so each asset has one continuous price series. The off-hours price reflects derivatives trading, not trades on the closed exchanges.

Onchain applications holding tokenized stocks previously had to pause markets, fall back on the last available price, or build their own systems while exchanges were closed. Lending protocols can take the prices as onchain Data Feeds. Trading platforms and prediction markets can use Data Streams, which update faster and identify which market session is live.

In January 2026, Chainlink added 24/5 pricing for US stocks and ETFs covering pre-market, regular, post-market and overnight sessions. Chainlink says its weekday pricing covers more than $1.6 billion in tokenized stocks.

Aave Horizon, built on Aave Protocol version 3.3, lets qualified investors borrow stablecoins against tokenized real-world assets, according to Aave Labs.
